After four years of living and working on the Isle of Skye, I am very proud and excited to launch my new ‘Edge of the World’ tour.
A Once in a Lifetime Isle of Skye Tour
The Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful places on earth with its nature, sealife and stunning landscapes, it’s a hikers paradise! There are also plenty of unique arts and crafts as well as amazing local produce such as whisky and seafood, with many local artisans located throughout the island.
This private tour is a three day once in a lifetime experience, crafted for the traveller that wants a unique and very personal experience of the island. It encapsulates my knowledge of the best hikes, viewpoints and contacts who provide unforgettable experiences that are not always obvious to tourists. This tour also massively embraces nature and observing Skye’s wildlife and sealife in their natural habitat.

The route out to Skye from Inverness includes a few surprises (especially for movie fans). To make things even more exciting and intriguing the itinerary for this tour is a secret. I will also give you options along the way with decisions to make that will personalise and shape your very own unique Isle of Skye adventure.
Go Beyond Skye
The ‘Edge of the World’ tour is more than the best of the Isle of Skye, in addition we will also visit two neighbouring islands and traverse Skye’s surrounding seas. In total the adventure includes four different modes of transport, there is no other tour that offers this type of structure. So if you love the thought of being in the wilderness surrounded by rugged beauty and the sights and sounds of nature, you need to experience this tour at some point in your life. It’s an awe inspiring three days.
Puffins, Puffins, Puffins!
You can see from the promo film what wildlife to expect on this tour but there’s even more if you are coming between late April and late July. During this time we will also visit a major puffin colony located on sea stacks about 10 miles off the Isle of Skye. It’s normal to see around six thousand puffins circling over our heads around here during the breeding season. It’s an incredibly heartwarming experience.
Something very special
I’m obsessed (in a healthy way haha) with the Isle of Skye and showcasing it to the world, a lot of love and thought has gone into the planning of this tour. I want people to go home feeling like they just experienced three days of something very special, something that will live within them for the rest of their lives. I also really want guests to live in the moment, so I am also including tour photography with this experience. It will be mostly candid photography including some photos taken on my drone.
New Drop Off Locations
I have also included the option to return to Glasgow or Edinburgh with this tour. This is particularly useful as it saves you having to spend a day travelling on to either of Scotland’s two largest cities and more time to explore.
Accommodation
Accommodation is a personal choice based on budget and the experience you are wanting. I will be happy to provide you with a list of my personal favourite cottages, pods, hotels and b&b’s on request. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
