Isle of Skye Tours – May & June 2026

May 16, 2026 | Tour Info

As the Highland season bursts into life, May and June are already shaping up to be one of the busiest and most exciting periods yet for Luke Tours, with guests travelling from across the world — particularly from the United States — to experience the wild landscapes, hidden roads, and cinematic adventures of the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye.

Featured in the image above is Laura from Alabama, whose recent bespoke Edge of the World adventure perfectly captured the spirit of these journeys — from an unforgettable hike through the dramatic landscapes of the Quiraing to a high-octane RHIB boat expedition into the wild Atlantic in search of puffins, dolphins, sea eagles, and remote island experiences few visitors to Scotland ever witness.

From mysterious journeys around Loch Ness to bespoke hiking expeditions deep into the Cuillin mountains, the months ahead are packed with unforgettable experiences, dramatic landscapes, and stories that guests will remember for the rest of their lives.

From Loch Ness Legends to the Edge of the World

The next adventure begins on May 18th with a full circular tour of Loch Ness — one of Scotland’s most legendary landscapes. Alongside breathtaking scenery and the ever-present mystery of Nessie herself, the journey will also include a visit to Boleskine House, one of the Highlands’ most intriguing and atmospheric historic locations, perched on the shores of the loch with centuries of stories attached to it.

Then from May 19th–21st, one of the most exciting bespoke editions of the Edge of the World tour sets off — this time beginning and ending on Skye itself. Designed around a guest with a passion for hiking and adventure, this three-day experience goes far beyond the standard sightseeing route.

Not only will we be exploring Skye’s rugged coastline and searching for sea life in the wild Atlantic waters surrounding the island, but the adventure will also involve another mode of transport into the heart of the Cuillins before tackling the legendary hike to Sgùrr na Strì — often described as offering the best view in Scotland, and by some, the best in the world.

These are the kinds of experiences that define what Luke Tours is all about: cinematic journeys, remote landscapes, and adventures built around the people taking part in them.

The end of May then brings another one-day adventure around the Isle of Skye on May 29th, continuing what is becoming an incredibly busy Highland season.

Bespoke Isle of Skye Tours Continue Through June

The momentum carries into June with a one-day Isle of Skye tour on June 2nd, followed immediately by a two-day Isle of Skye adventure on June 3rd and 4th, giving guests the chance to slow down and experience the island beyond the usual tourist trail.

On June 13th, the Isle of Skye Half Marathon returns, winding through some of the most scenic landscapes imaginable. And this time, I’ll be running it alongside my son, Jude. We’re taking on the challenge together—a little father-and-son adventure right here on home turf!

Immediately afterwards, from June 14th–16th, another bespoke Edge of the World experience begins — this time created as part of a 60th birthday celebration for Scott from Florida, a father travelling with his two sons. Like many of the private tours offered through Luke Tours, this journey has been tailored specifically around adventure, hiking, wildlife, and unforgettable shared experiences.

Expect dramatic landscapes, sea journeys into remote corners of the Hebrides, and challenging hikes through some of Scotland’s most breathtaking scenery.

And from June onwards, guests will also begin experiencing a brand new cinematic perspective on tour, with the addition of the new DJI Avata 360 drone setup — bringing completely fresh aerial footage and immersive FPV-style visuals to future adventures across Skye and the Highlands.
