Puffins, Wildlife & Wild Seas
From late April to late July, we also visit a major puffin colony located around 10 miles offshore.
During breeding season, it’s common to witness thousands of puffins circling overhead — sometimes up to 6,000 at a time.
It’s one of the most heartwarming wildlife encounters in Scotland.
Beyond puffins, depending on conditions, we may also encounter:
