Do you have corporate clients visiting Aberdeen and looking for ideas to entertain them with a one day tour?
Luke Tours offer small group executive tours of Aberdeen and the shire, let’s jump straight in there and get some ideas about what is on offer!
Based at Rosemount Viaduct in Aberdeen, Luke Tours provides an executive 7 seater vehicle with a corporate seating set up called ‘conference mode’, it comprises of 6 seats that face each other for sociable interaction. In the front there is an additional seat alongside your guide Luke.
At the moment there is one set tour of Aberdeen City, Dunnottar Castle and Newburgh Seals Beach, we also take in Slains Castles, lunch at Stonehaven Harbour and there’s also time to enjoy some other highlights in the city centre such as the Maritime Museum, Tollbooth Museum and the Art Gallery.
This tour is flexible depending on the weather and the group so can easily be modified if you would like to adjust the itinerary to suit.
Luke’s Aberdeen tours commence at the meeting point for coffee at the newly revamped £28.3m Union Terrace Gardens, from there we leave the city and head down to Dunnottar Castle before taking lunch at nearby Stonehaven Harbour. Then we head back north on to Newburgh Seals Beach, Slains Castle before heading back into the city to enjoy one of the museums. If there’s time afterwards we like to take guests onto a secret location nearby before the tour ends back in Aberdeen city centre.
On board Luke provides an ipad with photos and videos of the local area so guests can leave the tour feeling like they have enjoyed an authentic Aberdonian experience.
Luke also offers private hire if you have your own itinerary ideas, so feel free to contact me directly and we will put something together based your own ideas and time restraints.
Other tours we have previously offered include a trip down Royal Deeside taking the towns of Banchory, Ballater where guests can visit the royal carriage and tearoom before heading on to nearby Balmoral. Sometimes there is access to the castle ballroom and the pipers hall facilities, however if the royal family are in residence or renovations are taking place these may be replaced by temporary toilets, the Mews gift shop and cafe are open most dates.
Balmoral estate is always open to visitors including the royal Lochnagar distillery, plus the cairns walk where Prince Alberts pyramid can be enjoyed offering stunning elevated views.
Along the Deeside route there is also a fantastic cheesemaking establishment where guests can view cheese being made on certain days of the week and if guests would like to do a bit of hiking we have the Loch Muick walk which takes in the impressive Glas-allt Shiel house built by Queen Victoria and optional detours to see some waterfalls of maybe even hike to the summit of Lochnagar, one of Aberdeenshire’s 30 Munros with stunning views on the east side of the cairngorms.
So there’s lots of tour options here with plenty to see and do in the ‘granite city’ of Aberdeen and surrounding Aberdeenshire. Set Aberdeen tours are available to book in advance on the website, but if you would like something more bespoke during the Spring, Summer or Autumn please get in touch and contact Luke for further information and I hope to welcome your guests on board soon for my local tour.
